Mine too...ive never written a blog before but i figured i can learn from others and vice versa instead of just writing in a diary :) i saw music and lyrics on valentines day...if only i could find a hugh-grant a like haha

Thanks! Those who know me know that I'm definitely not a film buff - I watched Music and Lyrics on the plane home (anything with Hugh Grant in it is fine by me). Glad you appreciated the blog - it's my first "blog outing" so I expect I've a lot to learn!

Rose, she is an old pop singer originally in a duo called Sony & Cher from the 60's. Now however, she is a multi- talented singer and film star - I think.

Here's my less good experience of a Torontonian live music bar...

I walked past this place 'Rextaurant' and heard a very good trumpet player with a jazz quartet. I went in, sat at the last table where I had to crick my neck to see the band, and ordered an expensive beer. (The particular beer wasn't expensive; they all were.) The beer was surprisingly good but after one sip the band stopped and went home. There was another band on later so I thought I'd stay. But then someone came round asking for $8 cover charge for me to hear a band I didn't know perform at some unspecified later time. So I went home too.

I enjoyed your company as well on the flight and I'm sorry you had to witness my vomiting...at least it was lady-like, right? :) Also, I researched the Mason-Dixon line when I returned home if you want to discuss it later. Have fun in the land of the free, home of the brave!
